January is Cervical Cancer Awareness Month. The GO Teal and White campaign aims to spread awareness about cervical cancer prevention through early detection, regular screenings and HPV vaccination.

GO Teal and White Day

On Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2025, plan to wear teal and white to raise awareness about cervical cancer.

Go Teal and White - Get Tested

Get Screened and Tested

The Alabama Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program provides free breast and cervical cancer screenings for women who meet eligibility guidelines. Go Doc Go provides kits for at-home testing for HPV, the human papillomavirus.

GO Teal and White Pediatric Vaccines

Get the HPV Vaccine

Eight out of 10 adults will get HPV in their lifetime. The HPV vaccine, which prevents six different cancers in men and women, is recommended for boys and girls ages 9 to 12 with catchup through age 26. Adults up to age 45 may get the vaccine as recommended by their doctor.
