Carson Blankenship, PA-C, a physician assistant from Hartselle, Alabama, recently joined the staff of SouthNet Medical Clinic, which offers convenient access to both urgent care and primary care for USA Health and University of South Alabama employees.

“People are often afraid of embarrassment or ridicule when talking with their healthcare providers,” he said. “My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, and judgment-free environment, so my patients can have the best quality of care possible.”

After graduating from Auburn University in 2018, Blankenship moved to Mobile and worked for USA Health as a member of its COVID-19 Response Team. In 2023, he graduated from the physician assistant studies program at USA.

During his rotations, Blankenship developed a passion for primary care, as he loves the personal connection he gets to make with each of his patients, and he looks forward to continuing his professional career with USA Health.
