Three USA Health employees were honored as Christie Miree Award winners at a reception on Monday, Jan. 30.

USA Health employees win Christie Miree Awards
Members of the US-A Team at the University of South Alabama and USA Health were nominated by their peers for displaying outstanding service. This year, five winners were chosen from the group to receive Christie Miree USA National Alumni Association Outstanding Employee Service Awards.

The University of South Alabama recently honored several USA Health employees as nominees and winners of the 2023 Christie Miree USA National Alumni Association Outstanding Employee Awards. The Christie Miree recipients were chosen from the US-A Team, which recognizes outstanding employees who are nominated by their peers.

Three USA Health employees were honored as Christie Miree Award winners at a reception on Monday, Jan. 30. Here are excerpts from their nominations:

 

Lynn Collins, R.N., nurse manager, Infusion (Mobile and Springhill), USA Health Mitchell Cancer Institute – Administrative Category

“She is well-known in the Mobile/MCI community and is our clinic ambassador for infusion and represents the university in a professional and committed fashion. She is admired and respected by all who know her and always will do whatever it takes to meet the needs of her team at the clinic as well as our patients.”

“Her team members look to her for guidance and support, and she is always available to make sure that they get the resources they need in order to provide the best care for patients. She is also very much admired by her three GYN oncologists and two nurse practitioners, and she has to coordinate surgery schedules and clinic schedules on a daily basis to meet the physician expectations as well as our patients.”

“Jennifer has a great work ethic, and she is above average in the professionalism she exhibits in all that she does. Jennifer is a fantastic team player, and everyone in the department knows that we can always depend on her.”
