This year, 31 employees were named to the USA Health Clinical Advancement Team, a clinical advancement program designed to offer a leadership ladder for medical assistants and licensed practical nurses.

“The program was implemented in 2020, and each year it has continued to grow, with this year being our largest class,” said Sarah Kahalley, R.N., director of clinical resources at USA Health. “Over the three-year span of this program, we have accepted more than 80 applicants. Once accepted, the team participates in quarterly leadership projects, including our annual clinical skills fair hosted in the spring.”

This year’s class includes employees from 10 department locations and nine specialties within USA Health.
