USA Health is joining forces with Crothall Healthcare to enhance environmental services throughout the organization.

“First, all current USA Health employees will be able to remain USA Health employees,” said Chris Jett, administrator for Children’s & Women’s Hospital. “This effort will allow us to implement industry best practices while improving our equipment and our use of technology.”

Beginning May 24, Crothall will provide management for environmental services including future hiring, employee oversight and outcomes related to the cleaning of the USA Health hospitals, the Strada Patient Care Center and the Mitchell Cancer Institute.

“Our growth in services, and the complexity of those services, point to now being the right time for us to move in this direction,” Jett said. “We are among the last of the large health systems in the region to move to this type of management arrangement, and we anticipate that this will have a positive impact on our patients, care providers and employees.”
