During the month of November, the Physicians Group led an employee engagement activity focusing on leaders, hosted by Shelby Smith, director of Care Access for USA Health.

More than 50 staff members participated by Teams in two 30-minute sessions. The goal was to inspire leadership, and to extend and exemplify gratefulness and thankfulness to staff members to encourage and motivate them in their daily work life.

Smith noted that 65% of employees say they would like more feedback in the workplace. He listed a few of the reasons why barriers to feedback exist and how leadership can overcome them.
