USA Health employees have one more week to complete an opinion survey that can help make the health system a stronger, better organization.
A link to the USA Health Employee Voice Survey 2020, administered by Press Ganey, was emailed to employee inboxes on Aug. 17, and the survey will be available until Sept. 8.
“We’ve always believed that the best ideas about how to improve are within the organization,” said Owen Bailey, MHA, FACHE, chief executive officer of USA Health. “The people who work within USA Health are the best ones to give that important feedback on what we do well and what we can do better.”
To locate the email in your inbox, search for sender “Press Ganey on behalf of USA Health” or the subject line “USA Health Employee Voice Survey 2020.” The survey can also be accessed on the Press Ganey website and the USA Health Intranet site.
Employees who do not have access to a computer should contact their supervisors for assistance.
This survey builds upon the momentum from the initial USA Health employee engagement survey in 2018. That survey resulted in positive changes for the health system, including the implementation of executive rounding to increase communication. USA Health also launched a weekly internal newsletter, the USA Health Insider, to keep employees up to date on health system news, new hires and employee recognitions.
The responses to the survey will remain confidential. Press Ganey will receive and protect the response data, sharing only anonymous results with health system leaders.
As a thank-you to employees who complete the survey, USA Health will provide vouchers for a cookie that can be redeemed at the hospital cafeterias.
