Flu vaccine clinics planned at USA Health hospitals
The deadline for USA Health employees to receive the flu vaccine is Thursday, Oct. 31.
A clinic to give the vaccine that protects against influenza is planned for Sept. 8-9 from 6:30 to 8 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m. each day at USA Health University Hospital and USA Health Children’s & Women’s Hospital.
The clinic at University Hospital will be held in the Fit Test room in the basement, while the clinic at Children’s & Women’s Hospital will be located near the time clocks at the rear entrance. The flu vaccine is mandatory for USA Health employees.
The flu vaccine also is available by appointment at the Employee Health offices. Call 251-410-7629 for more information or to schedule an appointment.
The deadline for employees to receive the flu vaccine is Thursday, Oct. 31. Please note there is no wait time required between receiving the COVID-19 vaccine and the flu vaccine. Both may be administered on the same day.
