As a way to celebrate the season, USA Health hospitals are hosting a holiday meal for employees on Thursday, Dec. 16, at the hospital cafés. Department managers are distributing one ticket per employee for the event.

The meals are scheduled to accommodate both day and night shifts, with lunch served from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and dinner served from 8 to 9:30 p.m. at the cafés at Children’s & Women’s Hospital and University Hospital.

Employees will have a choice of flank steak or fish almondine along with sides, a roll and dessert. Managers will serve the meal. The meals are being provided by the USA Health Auxiliary.

“We are thrilled to continue with the tradition of management serving our employees,” said Rosemary White, M.B.A., assistant administrator for USA Health. “It is one small way of letting the staff know how much we appreciate them and the care they provide to our patients and each other. Our organization thrives because of their commitment to their patients, co-workers and departments.”

The event at Children’s & Women’s Hospital will include employees at the Strada Patient Care Center and the Mitchell Cancer Institute. The University Hospital event will include employees at the Mastin Building, the Moorer Building, UHOP, Stanton Road Clinic and University OB-GYN.
