Broemmelsiek named employee of the month

Joanie Broemmelsiek, R.N

Joanie Broemmelsiek, R.N., a nurse in clinical trials at the Mitchell Cancer Institute, has been named employee of the month for May. Among the comments made during her nomination: "Joanie demonstrates great empathy with patients and truly cares about each one. She makes sure every patient gets their treatments exactly the way the physician writes the orders, and she makes sure the patient understands exactly what the treatment is and what to expect after treatment.” Another comment stated, “No matter how busy, she always meets her patients with a smile on her face and always has positive things to say to them.”
