Erin Perniciaro, R.N., a nurse in gynecologic oncology at the USA Health Mitchell Cancer Institute, was named employee of the month for February. Among the comments made about Perniciaro: “Erin is easily one of the most important members of our team. She is one of the first ones in the office and the last one to leave every day.” “Erin is driven by connection. Our patients consider her part of their family, a confidant, a cheerleader, a listening ear, someone to vent to when it all becomes too much, and the first person to hug when things go well.”
