Reese named employee of the month

NICU nurse manager Cathy McCurley took part in the 2024 American Organization for Nursing Leadership Nurse Manager Fellowship program and wrote the article for her capstone project.
Each year, healthcare facilities qualify for awards from the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association that demonstrate how their organization has committed to providing quality care for stroke patients.
“This award brings national attention to USA Health Providence as a leader in patient-centered care and reinforces that our community can count on us — not just in times of crisis, but in the everyday work of building healthier lives,” said Libby Turnipseed Callan, RN, DNP, accreditation, and stroke manager at Providence Hospital.
A board-certified and fellowship-trained pathologist, Bahaaeldin Youssef, M.D., brings a passion for teaching and research to USA Health and the Frederick P. Whiddon College of Medicine.
