Employees collected more than 800 pieces of litter during the employee engagement activity in April and May.

USA Health Physicians Group employees collected more than 800 pieces of litter in a Litterati Challenge in April and May as part of an employee engagement activity.

Litterati is an app that empowers individuals to make a significant and measurable impact on the environment by picking up litter. The Physicians Group challenge covered a 100-mile radius and allowed employees to count litter picked up at work and at home.

A total of 848 pieces of trash was gathered during the challenge. Internal medicine was the top contributing clinic and will be rewarded with an ice cream celebration.

Top individual contributors were Brittany Brown, internal medicine, 479 pieces; Leah Barefoot, internal medicine, 140 pieces; and Katrice Pugh, neurosurgery, 123 pieces.
