McElhany named employee of the month

Sheila McElhany, associate manager for patient support services at the Mitchell Cancer Institute, has been named employee of the month for October.
Among the comments about McElhany were, “Sheila regularly meets with patients and caregivers to assess their needs and meet them where they are. She also cares for the caregiver as much as for the patient themselves.” Another said, “There is no doubt in my mind that every patient who comes in contact with Sheila is living a better life than they would without her.”
