Children’s & Women’s cafeteria wins Morrison Healthcare account of the year award
Children’s & Women’s Hospital also received the Compass Safety award, which went to only two institutions out of more than 850 accounts. The cafeteria had no safety claims for the entire fiscal year.
The cafeteria at USA Health Children’s & Women’s Hospital recently received multiple awards from Morrison Healthcare, including the Be-A-Star 2023 Account of the Year for the Hewlett Region, which includes a total of 45 institutions.
Children’s & Women’s Hospital also was named the Compass Safety Account of the Year, which was awarded to only two institutions out of more than 850 accounts. The cafeteria had no safety claims for the entire fiscal year.
Danny Gerlits, regional director of operations for Morrison Healthcare, said patient satisfaction ranged from the 80th to 90th percentile for the entire year. Additionally, year-over-year sales increased in the café.
Results from an associate engagement survey placed the cafeteria at Children’s & Women’s Hospital in the top 25% in Morrison Healthcare and saw a 6.5% increase over the previous survey.
