USA Health began the transition to a single design for badges in September.

Published Oct 18th, 2022

During September, USA Health began the transition to a single badge design by providing all new employees with the updated badge during their orientation sessions. Now, Human Resources will begin issuing the new badges to the remainder of the health system according to department.

Here are three things you need to know about the new badge roll-out:

The tentative time frame for completion will be:

  • Mid-October to mid-November – Physicians Group and Healthcare Authority (HCA) clinics as well as non-hospital-based departments
  • Mid-November to end of December – Children’s & Women’s Hospital and USA Health University Hospital

Human Resources will contact department heads and managers to set up dates and times to take new pictures in the next few weeks.

Employee Health will not be printing badges as part of the roll-out at this time.

During the transition to the new design, Human Resources asks that employees request a new badge only if their current badge is lost or damaged beyond use.
