New guidelines for giving notice

USA Health has extended the notice requirement for licensed, certified and professional staff.

Published Feb 17th, 2021

To ensure that we are adequately staffed to care for those in our community during the pandemic, USA Health has extended the notice requirement for licensed, certified and professional staff.

As of Friday, Feb. 12, employees are required to give four weeks’ notice to exit positions at the hospitals and clinics and remain in good standing. Employees who leave in good standing by completing the required resignation notice will be eligible for rehire.

“The current state of emergency has made the need for this change imperative,” said Andrea Rosler, chief human resources officer. “The most important thing we do is provide care for the area’s most intensely sick and vulnerable population.”

USA Health employs more than 5,400 people at 25 locations across the two-county area.
