The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at USA Health is expanding its care to patients with the addition of Hope Tindle, C.R.N.P., a nurse practitioner with an extensive surgical background.

Tindle will treat patients for non-operative orthopaedic issues and will assist during surgical treatments. She also will see trauma and sports medicine patients.

“I am excited to not only treat patients during surgery, but also pre-operatively and post-operatively,” she said. “I have worked in the operating room for more than 12 years. I love orthopaedics, and this new opportunity will allow me to care for patients throughout their injury process.”

Tindle knew as a child that she wanted to help people. She decided to pursue a career in medicine and chose orthopaedic surgery for a specific reason.

“Orthopaedic surgery consists of complex critical thinking, and I enjoy that challenge,” she said. “I want to incorporate my surgical background into my clinical practice to better help patients.”

Patients can request an appointment with Tindle by calling the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at 251-665-8200.
