What is your job title?
Volunteer services coordinator for USA Health University Hospital.

What is your favorite or most rewarding part of your position?
Getting to meet new people and helping make meaningful connections that make a difference in the lives of employees and patients.

What originally made you want to join USA Health?
I graduated from the University of South Alabama and wanted to continue being part of the Jag family.

How long have you been with USA Health?
17 months

What has working with USA Health taught you?
I have had the pleasure of working with many different people, and it has taught me to work with compassion and empathy. It also has taught me to always be intentional and to truly listen to understand and figure out ways to make things better.

What is your favorite hobby or pastime outside of work?
I enjoy spending time with my family. Also, I have a passion for photography. I love capturing special moments and bringing them to life for lifelong memories.

What advice would you give to people who want to work in the health system?
My advice would be to get to know your community. Research USA Health, and find out what opportunities are available. Network with anyone in your field of interest to explore opportunities, as well. If you are in college, apply to volunteer at any of our locations. It is one of the best ways to build experience and learn new skills.
