What is your job? What does it entail?
I work in the pharmacy department as a pharmacy technician. I'm a critical member of the healthcare team and essential in providing patients with safe, effective medication therapy. I work closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals in diverse settings of USA Health. I perform vital functions to support the patient care efforts of the pharmacy team. My roles and responsibilities continue to expand and evolve.

What is your favorite or most rewarding part of your position?
Being able to see the impact my work has on helping improve others' lives.

What originally made you want to join USA Health?
I was working in another field but was interested in healthcare. I was afforded the opportunity to come aboard and learn, with the chance of many promotable opportunities.

How long have you been with USA Health?
30 years

What has working with USA Health taught you?
I have been taught many things here. There are two things that stand out to me: to be empathetic, putting myself in the place of others to gain an understanding of them and their circumstances, and objectivity. Only the facts matter.

What are your professional goals?
Always be a student of my profession.

What is your favorite hobby or pastime outside of work?
Being with family and friends, attending church, reading, watching movies and shopping.
