What is your job title?
Coordinator of Practice Operations for the Department of Internal Medicine

What is your favorite or most rewarding part of your position?
Getting to be a problem solver. I do not know how to solve or fix everything, but I probably know someone who does. Then, I use those resources to educate myself about new policies and procedures, so I am better equipped for the future.

What originally made you want to join USA Health?
To find a home. I had previously worked in the dental field for 13 years, but to me that was just a job. Coming to USA Health, I have found a home and a lifelong career.

How long have you been with USA Health?
Six and a half years

What has working with USA Health taught you?
To always be flexible. In the world of healthcare nothing is black and white, and changes happen daily. You must learn to be prepared, adjust, communicate with your team, and move forward.

What is your favorite hobby or pastime outside of work?
Anything that involves the outdoors (hunting, fishing, going to the beach), entertaining friends and family.

What advice would you give to people who want to work in the health system?
USA Health is a fantastic place to work. You need to be a team player, dependable and flexible in our ever-changing healthcare world.
