Chemotherapy infusion nurse. I care for cancer patients in an outpatient chemotherapy infusion center in Fairhope.
What is your favorite or most rewarding part of your position?
The closeness that we get to experience with our patients and their families because we see them so often. They become like family to us. I also really enjoy my co-workers. I work with some awesome people.

How important it is to have a teaching medical facility in this area, and a medical facility that will not turn someone away for financial reasons.

My goal is to get my 25-year pin, and stay with USA Health until retirement -- at which point, I will have been a nurse for 44 years.

Cooking, spending time with my family, watching Food Network and reading.
Do you have any advice for med students or people who want to work in healthcare?
Listen to the nurses!
