USA Health clinicians are experts in their fields, making them trusted sources on a variety of healthcare-related news topics.

Ardie Pack-Mabien, FNP-BC, will lead as the interim director, and Allison Bolton, M.D., and Antwan Hogue, M.D., will serve as collaborating physicians.
During December, USA Health employees are encouraged to practice a new safety tool, STAR, which stands for “stop, think, act and review.”

Standing three stories tall, the Mapp Family Campus Medical Office Building is home to Baldwin Family Medicine and USA Health specialty care providers who are uniquely qualified to meet the healthcare needs of people in the region.

The practice sees patients with diabetes, adrenal disorders, osteoporosis, and thyroid and pituitary disorders, and helps patients manage their weight and metabolism.

This year, 11-year-old Kyler Hall, who has been a patient at Children’s & Women’s Hospital for the past five months, had the honor of flipping the switch, illuminating the more than 350,000 lights on the tree at the ceremony.

Dr. Haynes will be remembered as an excellent clinician and scientist who was passionate about his patients, and a trailblazer who paved the way for young African Americans to follow in his footsteps and become physicians.

A guestbook for those who would like to send their sympathies to the Waldrop family will be in the lobby of USA Health University Hospital until Thursday, Dec. 8. Those at Children's & Women's Hospital who also wish to sign the guestbook can visit the front desk in the lobby on Friday, Dec. 9, through Tuesday, Dec. 13.
