Eighth floor wins Most Consistent Sapphire Award
The eighth floor at USA Health University Hospital, has won the Most Consistent Sapphire Award based on a national, standardized survey of patient perspectives, the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems survey. The trauma floor maintained an overall rating of care above the 75th percentile for two months.
Martin named employee of the month
Angie Martin, a USA Health Children’s & Women’s Hospital medical assistant who works at the Mitchell Cancer Institute, was named employee of the month for March. Among the comments made about Martin: “Angie is willing to go to any department to help when needed. She does so without a complaint and with a smile on her face. She has empathy for new employees or those who are pulled from a different area. She is always calm and works to help them succeed.”
