Downs receives Daisy Award
Tyler Downs, BSN, RN, who works in the neurosurgical intensive care unit at USA Health University Hospital, was presented with a Daisy Award. The award allows colleagues, patients and patients’ families to recognize extraordinary nurses and the contributions they make every day.
Wells named employee of the month
Tara Wells, RN, BSN, has been named employee of the month for October at USA Health Children’s & Women’s Hospital. Some of the comments shared about Wells: “She is awesome and goes above and beyond for her patients.” “She’s always willing to lend a helping hand. She is always positive and works hard no matter how challenging the day is.”
Peoples named employee of the month
Jason Peoples, R.N., a nurse in the post anesthesia care unit at University Hospital, was named employee of the month. Peoples was nominated by a patient’s family member who said he provided great care.
