These employees have been recognized for their dedication to quality patient care.

Rhonda Agnew, a respiratory therapist at University Hospital, was named employee of the month for February. Agnew has been with USA Health for 26 years.

Lee Ann Brewer, a member of the medical oncology team at USA Health Mitchell Cancer Institute Kilborn Clinic, has been named employee of the month for February. Her colleagues said, “Lee Ann goes above and beyond every day in her job. She is a wealth of knowledge, and if we need help any time with anything, she will always jump in to assist.”

USA Health provides spiritual health resources to employees 

“Healthcare workers have to process and carry many emotions as they care for patients who are experiencing disease and traumatic events,” said Kim Crawford Meeks, manager of the Spiritual Care and Counseling Department. “Safe and sacred spaces to aid in the processing of emotions are vital to our health and ability to sustain this type of work.”
