"Nothing Bundt the Best" winners at Children's & Women's Hospital

Victoria Dumas
Victoria Dumas, patient dining associate, was nominated for making sure that the pediatric patients get all their trays and that their orders are correct. “She personally calls all of the rooms to make sure they get the meals they want every time. She has great communications with the nurses on the unit.”
Sharon Andry
Sharon Andry, NICU supply inventory technician, was nominated for having the best attitude and for being an extremely hard worker. Her nomination included these comments: “Any task or item that I ask her to do, she does without question and with great determination. She has diligently followed up on difficult-to-find products and items on prolonged back order.”
Jeremy Evans
Jeremy Evans, biomedical technician, was nominated for his hard work and for having a positive attitude. “He came in around midnight with a positive attitude ready to help resolve a critical equipment issue,” his nomination read. “He spent two hours troubleshooting and tried multiple interventions to resolve.”
Sara Carney, R.N.
Sara Carney, R.N., labor and delivery charge nurse, was nominated for “always finding a way to help” during a busy shift. Among the comments made about Carney: “I wouldn’t have made it through the night without her. She maintained a smile and helped ease my patient’s worry about monitoring triplets. She was quick to join in and lend a hand.”

GI Employee of the Month

Asia Cross
Asia Cross, a lead care access associate at the USA Health Digestive Health Center, was named employee of the month for January. Cross was recognized for going above and beyond in delivering patient care. She assisted a blind patient in filling out necessary paperwork, then assisted a patient who didn’t have transportation after his appointment. She booked a rideshare service, tracked it to make sure the patient made it home and paid for it herself. Among the comments made about Cross: “Asia takes initiative without expecting anything in return,” and “Asia exemplifies patience and compassion in her daily work.”

Surgery Employee of the Month

Sheterrica Williams
Sheterrica Williams, a medical assistant for Surgery at the Mastin Patient Care Center, was named employee of the month for January. Williams’ willingness to help earned her the honor. She jumped in to assist with trauma and emergency general surgery clinics at the Stanton Road Clinic. She also covers Dr. Daniel McMahon’s clinics at Mastin and University Commons. Her coworkers said, “A true sign of flexibility is covering three clinic locations and always smiling!-,” and “Terri has already become a valuable member of the team.”
