Seminar for employees: Financial Literacy 101
Reservations are required for the workshop, which will cover debt, budgeting, saving and other topics.
USA Health employees are invited to sign up for a training workshop on personal finance set for Monday, March 30, at the Strada Patient Care Center first floor conference room. The seminar, Financial Literacy 101, is set for 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will cover Dave Ramsey Baby Steps to becoming debt-free, budgeting, credit cards, saving and the power of compounding, among other topics.
Space is limited. Reservations are required and may be completed online at the USA Human Resources webpage using the Available Training Workshops tab. A free box lunch will be provided.
The speaker will be Eric Nager, a Daphne investment adviser and an adjunct professor in the Mitchell College of Business at the University of South Alabama. He has been with Southern Capital Services Inc. in Daphne since 2000 and is a Dave Ramsey SmartVestor Pro, as well as a chartered retirement plans specialist.
Nager earned his MBA from South and a master’s degree in history from Harvard University. In 2017, he retired as a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army Reserves after a 30-year career.
