This week, USA Health began offering a new service to University of South Alabama employees. The SouthNet Medical Clinic, located on the campus of Children’s & Women’s Hospital, offers convenient access to both urgent care and primary care services specifically for USA Health and University employees.

“We are excited to be able to offer convenient, high-quality medical care for everyone in the USA network,” said Theresa Yarbrough, M.D., the clinic’s medical director. “Our goal is to make it even easier for our employees to get the care they need when they need it.”

There are two separate clinics within the medical office, both open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

SouthNet Quick Care clinic provides immediate care for the most acute conditions, such as viral illnesses, cuts and rashes, minor burns and injuries, and infections of the ear, sinus and urinary tracts. SouthNet Quick Care offers same-day appointments.

SouthNet Primary Care clinic offers employees preventative care services, such as age-appropriate cancer screenings, lab work, and immunizations. It also offers management of chronic diseases, such as diabetes, hypertension and depression.

In addition to convenient access, SouthNet Medical Clinic services are provided to USA and USA Health employees with no copay and offer on-site labs and immunizations.

The clinic is located at 1720 Center Street, Suite 102, in Mobile. To schedule an appointment, call 251-660-5798 or visit online.
