Translation service resources available for USA Health team members

Language translation services are available for patients upon demand in several formats: audio and print in 125 languages and dialects, and video in 40 languages, including American Sign Language.

USA Health is determined to give the best care to every patient. That includes making sure there is no confusion when it comes to communicating about care.

Language translation services are available for patients upon demand in several formats: audio and print in 125 languages and dialects, and video in 40 languages, including American Sign Language (ASL).

“Most folks I have talked to did not realize we had a dedicated USA Health direct-dial option available to them,” said Shelby Smith, director of Care Access for USA Health. “This service helps remove a potential barrier to providing care.”

USA Health team members can request translation services when talking or interacting with patients and customers of USA Health by utilizing the direct dial number at (833) 230-6936 offered through our relationship with AMN Healthcare. Additionally, video translation is available through Stratus video devices that our facilities and locations have available for use.

When making this call, team members should request the language needed, then provide their name and USA Health as their organization. During the call, they should speak in short phrases, pause for interpretation and speak in first person.
