USA Giving Day is Thursday, April 22

During this 24-hour fundraising event, alumni, faculty, staff and friends are asked to pay it forward and, together, make an impact on our students and continue to advance healthcare in our region.

On Thursday, April 22, the University of South Alabama community will come together to show its support for the university and USA Health during its fourth annual USA Giving Day. During this 24-hour fundraising event, alumni, faculty, staff and friends are asked to pay it forward and, together, make an impact on our students and continue to advance healthcare in our region. Simply go to southalabama.edu/givingday on April 22 and pay it forward.

South CARES

South CARES is USA's Collaborative Access, Resources and Emergency Support program. Many students face unforeseen hardships during their time at South. When this happens, South CARES provides the resources necessary for them to continue focusing on their academic goals.

COM CARES

College of Medicine CARES is USA's Collaborative Access, Resources and Emergency Support program. Financial circumstances can change quickly. For USA’s medical students, a little help can sometimes go a long way. COM CARES provides emergency resources necessary for them to continue focusing on their academic goals.

Jags Unite Fund

Jags Unite Campaign helps South Alabama Athletics with funding for unforeseen expenses due to the COVID-19 pandemic including scholarships for student-athletes, testing services and equipment cleaning.

USA Health Fund for Excellence

USA Health is transforming medicine along the Gulf Coast to help people live longer, better lives. With your gift, we can continue to offer the region's most advanced care and leading-edge research by directing funds to where they are needed the most.

Leadership in Social Justice and Perseverance Scholarship

Established in 2020 through a partnership with 100 Black Men of Greater Mobile, this scholarship is a tribute to those who have fallen to systems of oppression and injustice. It will be awarded to rising seniors at South Alabama who demonstrate leadership, a commitment to social justice and perseverance characteristics. The Leadership in Social Justice and Perseverance Scholarship will be matched dollar for dollar through the Mitchell-Moulton Scholarship Initiative.
