For the convenience of our staff, USA Health has planned two pop-up vaccine clinics at University Hospital on Tuesday, July 27, and Thursday, July 29, from 1 to 8 p.m. in Room 716. Walk-ups are welcome, and no appointment is needed for these clinics.

“Vaccination is the best thing we can do for ourselves, our co-workers, our patients and our families,” said Michael Chang, M.D., chief medical officer for USA Health. “We have vaccine sites open all day, every day during the typical work week, so please strongly consider getting vaccinated.”

  • On weekdays, USA Health offers no-appointment-needed COVID-19 vaccine injections at the Strada Patient Care Center from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. where anyone ages 12 and older can receive the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine.
  • USA Health offers drive-through COVID-19 vaccinations at the Mobile Civic Center Expo Hall on weekdays. To self-schedule an appointment, visit usahealthvaccines.com.

“We continue to look at ways to encourage our employees to get vaccinated,” Chang said. “It’s important for our patients, and it protects our workforce, which allows us to continue to take care of patients and keep the doors open.”

More USA Health vaccine clinics for employees and the community are being planned. Information about those opportunities will be announced in USA Health Insider and other platforms as the schedule becomes available.
