New hands-on cooking classes focusing on an introduction to plant-forward diets, choosing healthy carbs, eating healthy proteins, and making healthy (and tasty!) breakfasts are scheduled for January through March.
Mobile Bay Magazine named three representatives from USA Health and the Whiddon College of Medicine to its annual 40 Under 40 class. Honorees are residents under the age of 40 who demonstrate leadership, professional excellence, and a commitment to the Mobile Bay area.
In the announcement, Becker’s said, “These physician leaders play a pivotal role in advancing patient safety, maintaining high quality standards, bridging the gap between leadership and medical staff, and managing risk."
Michael L. Sternberg, M.D., will lead the organization, which provides representation for more than 1,000 physicians practicing in Mobile County to the state’s medical association and advocates for many public service programs.
Presented during an event in Birmingham in December, the award was part of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation of Alabama’s $1.125 million investment in state-based research in 2024.
