Remodeling work continues in the orthopaedic surgery department located on the third floor of the Strada Patient Care Center. When completed, the project will add five exam rooms to accommodate expanded patient care.
New hands-on cooking classes focusing on Mediterranean, Sicilian and Tex-Mex cuisine are scheduled for April and May.
“While our hospital is here to help sick and injured children 24 hours a day, every day, preventing as many injuries and accidents as possible is a priority for us,” said Debbie Browning, MSN, RN, CENP, chief executive officer at USA Health Children’s & Women’s Hospital.
“Today, we see not just former patients, but fighters, miracles, and living proof that hope prevails,” said Manimaran (Maran) Ramani, M.D., MPH, chief of neonatology and medical director for the NICU. “This is why we do what we do, and it is one of the most fulfilling honors imaginable.”
