This week’s Watch Us Grow features the construction of new operating rooms at University Hospital. Construction crews work in the area of USA Health University Hospital in what had been the emergency department before the opening of the Fanny Meisler Trauma Center. The area is currently being remodeled as a state-of-the-art operating suite and is expected to be open in August 2023. The 13,866-square-foot area will house four additional operating rooms, one hybrid operating room and 12 additional post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) beds.
