Renovation work continues on University Hospital’s 10th floor. The new area will accommodate up to 30 patients. Plans call for the addition of 14 ICU beds and 16 medical/surgical floor beds in the space. A limited number of patients will be moved into the ICU this week, and the ribbon cutting to officially open the floor is expected to be scheduled in early April. Previously, the 10th floor was used for physician offices.
