In his new role, Young will oversee security for USA Health to include University Hospital, Children’s & Women’s Hospital, the Strada Patient Care Center, the Mitchell Cancer Institute, Baldwin County locations, and other physician office buildings.

“My goals are to enhance the safety and security of USA Health’s facilities, to improve customer service and professionalism of the USA Health safety and security team, and to help to create an environment of unity, cooperation and teamwork both within the safety and security department and USA Health,” Young said. “I hope to accomplish these by building a solid foundation of servant leadership and compassionate care toward those we serve.”
