About Josh Snow
Josh Snow, M.S.H.A., is chief executive officer for University Hospital. He oversees all operations for the hospital, an acute-care facility that serves as the major referral center for southwest Alabama, southeast Mississippi, and portions of northwest Florida. He also has oversight for the USA Health Freestanding Emergency Department in west Mobile.
Prior to joining USA Health in January 2024, Snow served as market president for The Medical Centers of Southeast Texas in Beaumont, part of Steward Health Care, where he provided executive leadership for a healthcare network comprising two full-service hospital campuses with more than 1,200 staff and 250 physician affiliates.
Snow also served as chief executive officer for Davis Regional Medical Center in Statesville, North Carolina. He also held additional senior executive leadership positions with community health systems.
He earned a Bachelor of Science in healthcare administration from Appalachian State University and a Master of Science in healthcare administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
