The body's kidneys play a vital role in removing waste from the body, controlling blood pressure levels and balancing levels of certain chemicals such as potassium, sodium and bicarbonate. When disease or injury prevent the kidneys from doing their job, your doctor may prescribe dialysis. USA Health is affiliated with Fresenius Kidney Care to provide treatment for patients with kidney failure. This clinic is specifically designed to provide treatment to those patients who require dialysis in the evening and night hours due to their day-time or professional obligations. These patients are actually able to receive their treatment while sleeping.
The Fresenius Kidney Care hours of operation are Monday–Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Evening and weekend hours are also available to meet the needs of our patients.
Nephrology is the branch of medicine dedicated to caring for diseases and disorders of the kidney. Patients with end-stage kidney failure may be prescribed dialysis treatment by our nephrologists.
Fresenius Kidney Care is located on the University Hospital campus.
This facility offers free parking and complimentary Wi-Fi to patients and their guests.

“As a pediatrician, I always approach the family as if they were my family and the child as if they were my child. It’s a no-judgment zone, and I want them to be able to make the best decisions for their care,” said Carey McDade Hancock, M.D.
“For many families, and even service providers, they may not know where to start when looking for resources for their child or loved one diagnosed with autism or some other developmental disability,” said Michelle McDaniel.
