Aerobics Classes
SilverSneakers® Cardio Circuit
Mondays and Wednesdays, 9 - 10 a.m.
This hour-long class is for adults seeking a moderate-intensity workout. It has standing low-impact choreography, alternated with standing upper-body strength work. This class can be adapted for the skill of individual participants, making it appropriate for nearly every fitness level.
SilverSneaker® Classic
Mondays and Wednesdays, 10 - 11 a.m.
This hour-long class is designed to increase both muscle strength and range of movement. Participants use a chair for seated exercises and standing support, and they can modify exercises based on their fitness level. This is our most-versatile class, and it is perfect for people who are just beginning to exercise or who have physical limitations.
Chair yoga
Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9 - 10:15 a.m.
This class helps increase flexibility and balance while you explore and practice postures that strengthen and stretch muscles throughout your body. Benefits of the class include reducing stress, improving posture, and heightening concentration.
Yoga Nidra
Wednesdays, 11 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.
This class allows participants to move into peacefulness. We help you become completely comfortable while the sleep practice relaxes you physically, mentally and emotionally. Benefits include balancing brain chemistry, reducing insomnia and anxiety, alleviating stress, and heightening awareness and focus.
Water Aerobics Classes
Mondays and Wednesdays, 9 a.m. - 9:45 a.m.
Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5:15 p.m. - 6 p.m.
This class, intended for all fitness levels, provides a low-impact workout focused on endurance and resistance training, all in a fun atmosphere with music. Participants can exercise in shallow or deep water, and activities include walking, jogging, cross country skiing, and jumping jacks.
Aquatic Arthritis Class
Mondays and Wednesdays, 10 - 10:45 a.m.
This gentle, warm-water exercise class is designed for adults with arthritis, with movements that can help them feel stronger and more flexible. Classes include a focus on deep-water exercise, and participants may tread water or use pool noodles or belts for flotation. Participants do not need to know how to swim.
