Mobile Diagnostic Center expands to include psychiatry care
USA Health psychiatrist Michael Marshall, M.D., is accepting new patients.
Those with mental health needs have a new resource on the Gulf Coast. Michael Marshall, M.D., recently joined the staff of USA Health Mobile Diagnostic Center as a psychiatrist.
A graduate of the Frederick P. Whiddon College of Medicine at the University of South Alabama, Marshall said he is excited to serve the community that molded him into the person he is today.
“As a psychiatrist, my goal is to not only diagnose and treat a variety of mental illnesses, but it also is to provide a beacon of hope,” he said. “Whether that’s addressing underlying or accompanying conditions that play into a patient’s mental state or serving as a much-needed cheerleader alongside the patient’s recovery, I take pride in helping my patients every step along the way.”
Marshall has special interests in adult psychiatric conditions including anxiety, mood and psychotic disorders, trauma-related disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, personality disorders and addiction.
