In an effort to expand care to women in the Mobile community, USA Health’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology has added a new office at 4300 Old Shell Road across from Spring Hill College.
The USA Health Obstetrics and Gynecology-Springhill location will provide general care for adolescents, teens and women, including puberty education, routine gynecologic exams, obstetric care and maternal-fetal medicine consultations.
Mimi Munn, M.D., professor and chair of obstetrics and gynecology at the USA College of Medicine and a maternal-fetal medicine physician at USA Health, said it was important to add another clinic to serve more women.
“It’s vital for women to maintain good health, and we want them to have more access to our offices,” Munn said. “USA Health provides exceptional obstetric and gynecologic care, and our providers are here to meet their needs.”
Providers at this location include Amelia Hewes, M.D., Candice Holliday, M.D., Frank Bodie, M.D., Susan Baker, M.D., and Taria Battle, C.R.N.P. To make an appointment, call the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at 251-415-1496.
Delivering more than 2,600 babies every year, USA Health is the region's leading provider of obstetric and gynecologic care on the upper Gulf Coast.
