Officials with USA Health caution those with travel plans to “know before you go” by getting tested for COVID-19.

USA Health marked a milestone today on the Alabama Gulf Coast, giving its 50,000th dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

vNOTES is an innovative technique that inserts a device through the vagina to perform common procedures such as hysterectomies. The technique is used to replace laparoscopic surgery, an operation performed using small incisions through the abdomen or pelvis.

It started as an idea for Jade Kantzler, a second-year medical student at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine, to partner with PASSAGE USA and provide health education to students with intellectual disabilities.
