USA Health distributes more than 100 gun locks during safety fair
Research shows that 59% of children cannot tell the difference between a real gun and a fake gun, according to SafeKids Worldwide.
More than 100 gun locks were distributed last week during a safety fair held at the Strada Patient Care Center. Through a grant from SafeKids USA, USA Health Children's & Women's Hospital distributed the gun locks at no charge to community residents, according to Courtney Thomson, pediatric community outreach coordinator for the hospital.
