Dr. Ahmed Abdalla serves as a medical oncologist and an assistant professor of interdisciplinary clinical oncology at the USA Health Mitchell Cancer Institute. He received his medical degree from the University of Khartoum College of Medicine in Khartoum, Sudan. He completed a residency in internal medicine at Hurley Medical Center/Michigan State University in Flint, Mich., and a fellowship at Ascension St. John Hospital, Van Elslander Cancer Center in Grosse Pointe, Mich. He also did six months training in investigational drug development at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
Abdalla is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Medical Oncology, the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and the Sudanese American Medical Association. Abdalla’s research has been published in numerous publications.
