John N. Soltys, M.D., Ph.D.
Dr. Soltys received his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry (2009) from the University of Vermont. He completed medical school and earned a Ph.D. in Neuroscience (both 2018) at the University of Colorado at Anschutz Medical Campus. He followed that with an Internal Medicine internship (2019) and Neurology residency (2022) at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, where he also served as chief resident. Before returning to USA, he pursued clinical and research fellowships in Autoimmune Neurology at the University of Oxford, John Radcliffe Hospital, and Mayo Clinic Jacksonville.
Dr. Soltys’ clinical interests include multiple sclerosis, neuromyelitis optica, neurosarcoidosis, and autoimmune disorders of the central nervous system. His research interests include new and emerging disease-modifying drugs for multiple sclerosis and related conditions, autoimmune neurologic disorders, and elucidating the molecular origins of pathological autoimmunity.
