About Robert L. Ross
Dr. Robert L. Ross, III joined USA Health in 2020 as Medical Director over Monoclonal Antibody Infusion Clinic treating COVID patients and as Medical Director over the COVID task force. Dr. Ross is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine for the University of South Alabama College of Medicine.
Dr. Ross has practiced medicine in Mobile for more than 41 years in the areas of Family and Industrial Medicine. He became the first Residency Trained and Board-Certified Occupational Medicine Specialist in Mobile in 1993. Dr. Ross was also the first to develop an Industrial Medicine program in Mobile in 1994.
Prior to joining USA Health, Dr. Ross practiced Occupational Medicine in North Carolina and served as President of Bay Occupational Medicine, PC. He continues to provide Medical Consulting Services in Alabama and North Carolina.
Dr. Ross is a Fellow of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (FACOEM)
Also, a Fellow of the American College of Preventive Medicine (FACPM). He is also a Certified DOT Medical Examiner and Certified Medical Review Officer.
Dr. Ross is a native of Atlanta, Georgia. He earned his medical degree from the University of South Alabama and completed an occupational medicine residency at The University of Alabama in Birmingham and a neurosurgery residency at the University of Mississippi.
