Types of Gifts
Outright Gifts and Pledges
Make a one-time gift, set up an automatic recurring deduction, or pledge a gift of $5,000 or more over five years. To set up a recurring deduction, log on to our secure online giving form and enter the amount, frequency and duration of your choice.
Tribute Gifts
Financial gifts can honor someone special, including a patient or caregiver, or acknowledge special occasions such as birthdays, weddings or anniversaries.
Planned Gifts
Planned gifts offer the fiscal strength and security required for continued growth to ensure that we remain at the forefront of research and patient care. Planned gifts enable donors to establish a meaningful and permanent connection to USA Health, while also achieving their own personal, financial and estate planning goals. For more information, visit usalegacy.org or contact Caroline Smith, Corporations and Foundations Relations Officer, at (251) 341-4080 or carolinesmith@southalabama.edu.
Matching Gifts
Many employers will match or sometimes even triple the amount of charitable donations made by employees to nonprofit organizations. Contact your employer's human resource office about matching donations.
Faculty and Staff Gifts
Each spring, the University sponsors the Faculty/Staff Annual Fund Campaign, which aims for 100 percent participation from its faculty and staff. Donations can be designated to any area within MCI. Gifts may be made through payroll deduction.
