In September 2023, the USA Health Department of Family Medicine partnered with Accordia Health to conveniently integrate family medicine and behavioral health services.
Accordia Health provides quality-driven, patient-centered care in a convenient, cost-effective and accessible manner. Accordia Health is a Federally Qualified Health Center focused on the whole person, providing primary care and specializing in psychiatric treatment.
The Family Medicine Center hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Accordia Health is the primary care arm of AltaPointe Health, an extensive behavioral and primary healthcare system in Alabama. AltaPointe operates two psychiatric hospitals, one behavioral health crisis center, and 24 outpatient clinics. Its clinicians provide more than 1.3 million services annually to more than 45,000 people across seven counties, including Baldwin, Clay, Coosa, Mobile, Talladega and Washington.

We provide a full range of gynecologic and obstetric care for women beginning with preconception through childbirth and recovery.
To help patients of all ages achieve and maintain good health, we offer preventative healthcare including screenings, immunizations and counseling. In addition, our staff nutritionist counsels patients on following healthy diets.

Lisa Moreno-Walton, M.D., M.S., MSCR, is the first tenured faculty hired in emergency medicine, the first to have previously served as an associate dean, and the first with an extensive track record of extramurally funded research.
“As a pediatrician, I always approach the family as if they were my family and the child as if they were my child. It’s a no-judgment zone, and I want them to be able to make the best decisions for their care,” said Carey McDade Hancock, M.D.
“For many families, and even service providers, they may not know where to start when looking for resources for their child or loved one diagnosed with autism or some other developmental disability,” said Michelle McDaniel.
